Location of the watermill of the world’s end.
The cottage is located in the town of Saint-Etienne de Gourgas, in the canton of Lodève.
The communal territory combines two types of landscape, in the North “le plateau du Larzac meridional” (excellent wine there !!!) and at the south three rivers dig a set of valleys whose meet at the entrance of the village: “La Brèze” at Gourgas, “La Primelle” at Larcho and the stream of Aubaïgues.
At the junction of these two zones, the Causse’s foothills are occupied by the national forest of “Notre Dame de Parlatges”.
The field of the watermill of the world’s end is crossed by “La Brèze” whose access is reserved on more than 90m (and more than 200m on the opposite bank).

Take the A75 motorway and follow Watermillau to the exit Lodève Nord / Soubès (exit 52)
Cross the village of Soubès
As soon as you have passed the entrance sign of Saint-Etienne de Gourgas, this is the first house on the right, stone parking.
From Paris
Take the A71 motorway to Clermont-Ferrand
Take the A75 motorway (free except the Watermillau viaduct) to the exit Lodève Nord / Soubès (exit 52)
Cross the village of Soubès
